Lieberman's writings in this book to me seem to be either poorly investigated and rather dated. Lieberman", "D. It is my personal opinion that this book contains rather inaccurate work based on my readings about the subject by experts whose credentials I found more easy to scrutinise.Disclaimer: This review is an expression of opinion. Lieberman"). I am unable to find Dr. J.

I get the impression that the author self-published it. Alas, they are worthless. If there is any methodology or data to support the claim this is "scientific," the author doesn't identify it. He claims to have a Ph.D., but does not specify from what institution, or even in what field. If they like it so much, surely the author could have gotten someone to say something nice. I've tried to read this book twice.
Military, and professionals and governments in more that 25 countries. This book basicly consists of pseudo-academic jargon, that disguises its lack of substance. It has a great title, and the jacket blurb claims the author's technique called S.N.A.P. I am a trial lawyer, so I was particularly interested in his sections on jury selection. It's in the same category as that dingbat who is on The O'Reilly Factor talking about body language. - Strategic Non-Invasive Analysis and Profile - is scientific, and used by the FBI, U.S.
Another clue I should have seen is that there is not one endorsement or quote from another author, or retired FBI agent or military man.
Let's try and see. This book provides much information about the signs of a liar. However, impressive as the methods may be, it is not easy to apply them and I am not sure whether all the information the author provide, is accurate.
Unless you do more study, it can still be difficult to tell with exact precision whether or not someone is lying. It doesn't give you a sixth sense like I hoped. The examples used are from romantic & working relationships, but many of the lessons can be applied throughout your daily interactions.
Basically, liars work to defend themselves. These strategies are used in such a way that an indirect confession is nearly guaranteed. The author does an excellent job of teaching you how to tell if someone is lying.
Full confessions are also a typical result of these tactics. You'll second guess yourself but read it and review it from time to time and you'll get better. The innocent, on the other hand, have no reason to even begin a defense.
Furthermore, the book discusses ways you can find out the truth.
All I can say to that is, poor reading comprehension. And all innocence is lost.
This book is a must read. There comes some surprises when you can't help but read the body language of your spouses, long time friends, business associates and find how many people lie on a daily basis.
This book is truly amazing. The only downfall is that once you know how to read a person, you can't stop reading everyone.
But you have to be prepared to be shocked. I've read a review or 2 of people who got nothing out of this book.
This book changed my life, and will certainly change yours.
